In the poorest section of the fourth poorest country in the world, where one meal a day is a luxury and no education is available, Heart For God and Pastor Tom Mambo started Faith Christian Academy.
Heart For God Ministries first met Pastor Mambo in 2014 in Area 50 Malawi and vetted his heart, skills and commitment to Christ. We spent two weeks there, witnessing the poorest conditions one can imagine. This is what we saw on that trip.
By 2018 we purchased land, built a church and a parsonage. In 2021 we opened Faith Christian Academy with 50 children, some homeless, most needing food, love and encouragement.
Today the school is 225 children through grade 4.
